Steel Bands come in SIX different resistance levels for any type of user and activity.Great for all pulling and pushing movements when you lift. Overload your squats or use these for assisted chin-ups. These bands can stretch up to 2.5 times it's original length! These bands are made using a continuous 15-layer strip of rubber latex! Bands #1 (Purple) & #2 (Red/Black) are best for general conditioning, rehabilitation, stretching, jumping, speed training, aerobics, and for lifters as assistance for the upper body to increase the resistance for bicep and triceps. Either band is great for beginners and light weightlifters. Both can be used to safely increase the intensity of a workout without adding additional weights to a bar. For the stronger lifter, they will add considerable resistance to bicep and tricep exercises. Bands #3 (Blue/Purple) & #4 (Green) can be used by stronger benchers, and with exercises involving the lower body, calves, quads, hamstring and glutes. Large Bands #5 (Black) are usually used for obtaining maximum resistance with squats, deadlifts, leg presses and shrugs.
